Rihanna Pours it Up and Bares it All

Anyone who has been a fan of pop culture in the last six or so years has to have seen glimpses (at the very least) into the unorthodox lifestyle of pop megastar, Rihanna. As music’s resident anti-diva, Rihanna is constantly making headlines whether it be for her next single or for her strongly worded tweets. If there’s one thing that Miss Fenty has taught us in her time in the spotlight it’s that she just doesn’t give a shit about people’s opinions.

Some could call her antics a sign of insecurity or even herald her as a beacon of self-confidence and self-empowerment. No matter what side of the spectrum you fall on, it’s imperative that you admit that this girl is the queen of making news. Her latest stir comes in the form of her literally baring all in the pages of Lui Magazine. Clearly excited about her banging body, Rihanna took to Instagram early this morning to post a couple of pictures from the shoot. Now, 8 AM might be a little early for such a dose of T&A, but you’ve got to admit that she looks hot and the photos are tastefully done (with the exception of her really weird tan line).

Unfortunately for those that are tardy to the party, Instagram has had the photos taken down because of their blatant nudity. While I’ve never actually read the terms & conditions on Instagram – or any site for that matter. I can’t help but feel that this is slightly unfair. What Rihanna posted was artistic and truthfully not lewd in any way. Fashion has never shied away from nudity. And if we’re being honest, Instagram hasn’t either. I can’t tell you the amounts of nether regions I’ve personally seen on the social media site.

So, why are Rihanna’s nipples suddenly Public Enemy #1? Is it fair? No. Does Rihanna care? Most likely not. Besides it only stirred her already overflowing pot of publicity. Now the spread will get more attention and she’ll be pouring it up all the way to the bank with or without the assistance of Instagram. Whether or not you believe that the photos were too racy for the #Selfie nation, you’ve gotta admit that Rihanna is looking pretty damn hot on that cover.
